Autumn Term 2009
Class 2 visited Gainsborough Old Hall as a part of their History topic on Tudors. They Explored the Tudor style house, the banqueting hall, the kitchen and pantry and bedrooms. This gave them a good insight into the life and times of Henry Viii.

Live Music Now
Live Music Now came and performed on the 23rd November.We have in the past had some marvellous concerts by this organisation and we always look forward to them coming. This time we were pleased to welcome a lady harpist. She performed for the primary and secondary groups in turn.

Things to look forward to in the Spring Term 2010
Jack Greene Tudor Pedlar.
Classes 2 and 3 will be having a visit from Jack Greene he will arrive dressed in costume and staggering in weighed down by baskets, bags, chests, costumes and artefacts of every kind. This will be a fantastic experience for all the children. This will continue our topic on Tudors

Friends from across the sea.
As part of our international links with Ghana, West Africa; three members of Sekondi, Ghana, teaching staff visited Spilsby to experience life and education in Lincolnshire. Our visitors supported our studies, and provided an insight into another part of the world not available in books. As part of the exchange programme, 3 members of Eresby will be taking part in a reciprocal visit, planned for early July 2010.

New Life Skills Room
This term we were proud to open our new life skills room. The new facility contains three modern, fully equiped kitchens, with washing and drying machines. The room is made complete with an interactive white board and modern teaching equipment.
The new facility will support the range of independent skills Eresby can offer to its students.
